Ashley Estebo is a Program Manager for the COPE Health Scholars Program at Kaiser Permanente Irvine in Orange County, CA.
Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Estebo worked as the Medical Staff Department Student Coordinator at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital where she ran the educational program for medical and physician assistant students for two years. In this role, Ms. Estebo worked closely with physicians, hospital administrators and medical school deans to enhance student experience, improve program operations and promote student educational opportunities. Prior to this role, Ms. Estebo gained clinical and patient care experience as a Health Scholar (formerly Clinical Care Extender) at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA for a year and a half before being hired at Hoag as the Delivery Room Coordinator on the Labor and Delivery floor. Ms. Estebo also volunteered at the Orange County Health Care Agency in the Health Promotion Division for six months where she worked on the Tobacco Use Prevention Program and helped organize and execute educational outreach to local youth.
Ms. Estebo graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a bachelor of science in Biology and a minor in Political Science. She also holds a Master of Public Health from George Washington University, located in Washington, D.C. Outside of work, Ms. Estebo volunteers with Kid Power OC, a program operated by University of Irvine (UCI) medical students and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) medical residents, to bring curriculum-based health education to elementary schools in Orange County.
