Banpreet Gill joined COPE Health Solutions in November 2017 as a Program Manager at Citrus Valley Health Partners. In this role, Ms. Gill oversees the growth and operations of a program consisting of over 450 Health Scholars across 3 hospital sites in West Covina, Covina and Glendora, CA.
Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Gill worked as a clinic supervisor at AltaMed Health Services Corporation, a non-profit organization that provides care to underserved communities throughout southern California. At AltaMed, Ms. Gill successfully worked on several outreach projects focusing on preventative care through patient education on diabetes, breast cancer, and heart disease. Ms. Gill also took the lead on the implementation of an internship program at AltaMed where she assisted with the creation of site specific curricula and individualized student learning objectives. Through this internship program, many college students were able to gain first-hand experience related to clinical operations and management.
Ms. Gill graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor of arts in Psychology. At UCR, Ms. Gill served as the president of the Sikh Student Association where she organized several health clinics and fundraising events within the local community. Ms. Gill also holds a master of science in Health Care Management from California State University, Los Angeles. Through her work with COPE Health solutions, Ms. Gill aspires to motivate and positively impact the health care professionals of tomorrow.
