Jared Stoen

 

Jared Stoen is the program coordinator for the COPE Health Scholar program in the Tacoma, Washington region. With over a decade of unique experiences working directly with physicians and patients, he uses his experience and expertise to engage and encourage community members seeking a career in health care. Mr. Stoen drives community engagement to promote recruitment and enrollment for the Junior Health Scholar and Health Scholar programs with MultiCare Good Samaritan, along with the joint MultiCare Tacoma General and MultiCare Allenmore sites, as well as providing logistical support and strengthening relationships with community stakeholders. 

Mr. Stoen comes to COPE Health Solutions after several years working in rehabilitation therapies at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA, providing complex care coordination, operating interstate and level-of-care transitions, providing social supports and navigation, as well as directly supporting rehabilitation therapists and physicians. He developed strong relationships with community health care institutions to facilitate optimal care transitions to provide excellent patient outcomes. He has liaised with physicians, patients, administration, and third parties to collaborate and steer optimal plans for patients to improve quality of life. Though a departure from his former role, he uses the skills and experiences he received to relay to and excite others wishing to pursue a career in health care. 

Mr. Stoen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa in 2012 in health and human physiology. He seeks to further his education to become a leader in the health care industry, focusing on public health and help globally improve patient outcomes to optimize the health of our communities.
