Jasmin Ward joined COPE Health Solutions as a Program Manager in September 2019. In this role, Ms. Ward manages the COPE Health Scholars Program at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. Her responsibilities include the supervision of all program operations with a focus on program management, recruitment, training and the professional development of program participants while providing a strong workforce pipeline for the program site.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Ward was a supervisor with the Council on Aging Southern California HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program), a partially governmentally funded program that provides free and unbiased Medicare counseling, low- income application assistance and health care advocacy. Besides ensuring effective program management, site development, recruitment and outreach, Ms. Ward also developed training curricula and conducted the training modules for the CA- state certification for Medicare counselors.
Overall, Ms. Ward brings more than four years of experience in nonprofit administration, program management and advocacy as well as two years of international corporate experience.
Ms. Ward holds a law degree from the University of Trier, Germany, with a specialization in international and EU law.
