Licensed Nurse Scholar

For licensed nurses who are recent graduates



Students must have a current license as a registered nurse in the state of California.


The Experience

Licensed Nurse Scholars have hands-on patient care experience in an inpatient care setting. Although employment is not guaranteed, as Scholars become part of the patient care team they are often given preference for entry-level nursing positions.

The Commitment

Licensed Nurse Scholar Preparatory Course 10 hours
Weekly commitment 12 hours/week in 1 shift
Shift availability 7 am to 7 pm, 7 days per week
Total clinical hours 288 hours
Time to complete program 24 weeks
