The Benefits

If you’re a high school student thinking about studying for a career in the health care field, this program is a uniquely valuable experience for you.

Through lectures taught by UCLA professors, you’ll get a sneak peek of university courses. With visits to two reputable universities in the Los Angeles area, you’ll have a chance to meet with admissions experts and learn what to expect in preparation for college and college life. In touring the hospitals in our network, you’ll see firsthand what it’s like working as a medical professional in a hospital setting. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certificate of completion from UCLA and be certified to perform CPR – both valuable additions to your resume and college application.

Throughout the program, you will build relationships with students, UCLA professors, and experts and professionals in the medical field. In an increasingly competitive college environment, we believe it’s of the utmost importance to learn from the varying perspectives of experts and students who are currently in college and are aspiring health care professionals.
