During the 7-day immersive trip, Scholars will learn about comparing value-based payment and overall healthcare models from esteemed faculty and industry experts.
The itinerary includes a hybrid of experiential learning and traditional instruction methods at Josai International University reviewing topics including global healthcare costs, risks and access drivers, how health systems and non-systems leverage value-based payment, and the U.S. health care system in comparison to international health care systems.
Scholars will tour Japanese hospitals, clinics, and visit with providers mixed in with sightseeing and group activities exploring Tokyo from visiting monuments to a day visit to Mt. Fiji.
