During the 7-day immersive trip, Scholars will learn about international value based healthcare from six esteemed faculty and industry experts.
The itinerary includes a hybrid of traditional instruction methods at Josai International University and reviewing topics including global healthcare costs, risks and access drivers, how health systems and non-systems leverage value based payment, and the U.S. health care system in comparison to international health care systems.
In addition to traditional learning methods, Scholars will tour Japanese hospitals, clinics, and visit with providers mixed in with sightseeing and group activities exploring Tokyo from visiting monuments to a day visit to Mt. Fiji.
