The Benefits

High School Students

If you’re a high school student thinking about attending a university in the United States, particularly to study the health care field, this program is a uniquely valuable experience for you.

Through lectures taught by UCLA professors, you’ll get a sneak peek of university courses. With visits to two reputable universities in the Los Angeles area, you’ll have a chance to meet with admissions experts and learn what to expect in preparation for college and college life. In touring the hospitals in our network, you’ll see firsthand what it’s like working as a medical professional in a hospital setting. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certificate of completion from UCLA and be certified to perform CPR – both valuable additions to your resume and college application.

Throughout the program, you will build relationships with students from around the world, UCLA professors, and experts and professionals in the medical field. In an increasingly globalized world, we believe it’s of the utmost importance to learn from the varying perspectives of experts and students from around the world.

College & University Students

If you’re a university student interested in a professional medical career in the United States, this program provides an unparalleled opportunity for you.

Through the lectures, you’ll gain the ability to compare and contrast the U.S. health care system and your home country’s health care system. Through focused trainings and a unique simulation lab, you’ll experience a fast-paced simulated medical situation where you will have to think on your feet and react as a medical professional. In touring the hospitals in our network, you’ll see what working as a medical professional in a hospital setting is really like. Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll gain a certificate of completion from UCLA and be certified to perform CPR, which you can add to your resume or application.

Throughout the program, you will build relationships with students from around the world, UCLA professors, and experts and professionals in the medical field.
