Affordable Nurse Assistant Scholar Training Program
COPE Health Solutions’ Nurse Assistant Scholar Training Program is an innovative joint effort of COPE Health Solutions (CHS) and partnered health systems to provide an affordable and convenient way to enter the field. Over the course of three months, Scholars in the program will gain the skills and foundational knowledge needed to succeed as a nurse assistant in a clinical environment through didactic learning, as well as in-person training guided by experienced professionals in the field. Scholars will be eligible to sit for the Certified Nurse Assistant exam upon completion of the training program and have an advantage for direct job placement with our partnered health systems.
What is a Certified Nurse Assistant?
A Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is a healthcare professional who supports basic patient care under direct supervision of nursing staff. Most often employed in a clinical setting, such as a long-term care or skilled nursing facility, CNAs perform routine activities of daily living (ADLs) with patients, assisting in overall hygiene care, nutrition needs, essential documentation of activities, and other types of patient care.
