Adventist Health Specialty Bakersfield is a 47-bed hospital with three operating rooms, four cardiac catheterization labs and operates as a full-service, acute care hospital offering a range of specialty services to the community. Now, as part of the Adventist Health family, we’re building upon a legacy of exceptional heart care and expanding our ability to better serve Kern County for decades to come. This collaboration brings together resources, expertise and vision from the two Adventist Health campuses in Bakersfield to advance industry leading surgical services, enhance efficiencies and continue to provide the highest quality, patient-centered care to Bakersfield and the surrounding areas.

Our services include cardiovascular and orthopedic services, general/outpatient surgical services and 24-hour emergency care. The Heart Hospital campus is home to the only Women’s Heart Center in Kern County where women (and now men) can spend 45 minutes with a cardiac nurse to assess their risk factors for heart disease. We have an amazing team of healthcare professionals whose mission is to enhance the quality and health of our patients and their families.
