The Adventist Health Central Valley Network consists of more than 60 sites across four medical centers throughout Kings, Fresno, Tulare Kern and Madera Counties. Specific hospital locations include Adventist Health Hanford, Reedley, Selma and Tulare.
Adventist Health Hanford is a 142 bed acute-care medical center located in Hanford, California and serves 45 communities within California’s Central Valley. Adventist Health Hanford and its partner hospital, Adventist Health Selma, are staffed by 475 physicians and 1,739 employees in total. In 2019, Adventist Health Hanford received an “Excellence in Patient Safety Award” from Premier Inc., a healthcare improvement company. As one of only 22 out of 514 hospitals across 40 U.S. states to earn the award, Adventist Health Hanford demonstrated excellence in a number of areas related to patient safety, including limiting falls and infections.
Adventist Health Reedley is a 49-bed hospital located in Reedley, California. The facility offers Central Valley residents emergency, laboratory, medical imaging services and a birth center services. In order to create a family-centric environment, the hospital provides each of its patients with a private room. Recently, Adventist Health Reedley has earned recognition for its exceptional teaching programs. In 2019, the hospital was one of only 10 hospitals across the state of California to earn The Leap Frog Group’s top teaching hospital accolades.
